Tools For Solidarity is a voluntary development and environment organisation that seeks to support working people in some of the poorest countries in the world by providing them with refurbished tools, sewing machines and training. We also seek to make connections between how our life choices impact on the environment – locally and global by promoting education for sustainable development.

Description
We have worked with your organisation in the past through the Erasmus programme, in hosting volunteers in our project here in Northern Ireland. All the volunteer placements that we received were very successful, and the individuals made a very valuable contribution to our work.
We are hoping to recruit a new batch of volunteers for the April 2018 deadline, and would like to ask you to advertise and promote our project in your area.
To apply we ask all candidates to send us a CV, a letter explaining why they wish to volunteer with us ( please be specific) and to complete and return a questionnaire – attached.

We normally receive more than 30 applications each deadline but are only able to recruit 5 or 6 volunteers.
We are looking for volunteers for 12 months.
As well as working on tools and sewing machine refurbishment we need volunteers to indicate which other area of work they are interested in – we need two volunteers each for our education programme, working with supported volunteer and in our publicity team. Please let me know which of these areas of work you are interested in.
